Taisuke Okamoto is a Developer Experience & Performance Engineer at PLAID, Inc., where he focuses on development infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and developer experience improvements for the KARTE platform. Prior to joining PLAID, he served at IDC Frontier where he led the development of a Kubernetes as a Service offering on CloudStack, implementing CSI Drivers, Cloud Controller Managers, and Ingress Controllers. He also designed and delivered a comprehensive three-month container and Kubernetes education program for engineers company-wide, consistently achieving over 90% satisfaction ratings. Before that, at Video Market, he spearheaded the migration of a video streaming platform from PHP to Go with a Kubernetes-based microservices architecture and designed multi-DRM systems supporting Widevine, PlayReady, and FairPlay. He actively contributes to the cloud-native community as Co-chair of CloudNative Days, Japan's largest cloud-native tech conference, and as Co-Organizer of Grafana Meetup Japan, where he promotes observability practices using the LGTM stack and related technologies. He is also active as a DJ and VJ at nightclubs and music festivals in Tokyo.
